BRAND NEW U.S.BOMBS FOOTAGE SURFACES OF A SHOW MIXED DOWN THROUGH THE BOARD IN CALGARY CANADA – June – 13 – 2001

Well,At least I Know what I Was doing the Day after I Turned 40 way back in 2001 man, That Was A Huge Pay back year for me and I Was home A total of 9 Day’s That year and Unfortunately 911 was on one of those 9 day’s !? Of Course I was ! Haha ! 50 years of This sort of Luck and You Either file under denile or just Roll with The Punches and I chose the Latter because Life Just rolls on anyhow So…might as well get into The Flow and roll away ! YARRRRR !

We were on the Road with union 13 and Gutter Mouth and me and My bass Player Wade Walston Were not Allowed in the Country Due to Me Having A D.U.I. on my Record Without All the Council US Department of whatever crap, I Wasn’t Getting anything but My Skateboard and I am Going to Rush the boarder and If I get Caught ? Oh Well…. I Get sent Home for Two weeks and Then fly To new York and Crawl Back in the Van for The Last 3 weeks Back home From there.

We’d Allready been On The Road For Quite Some Time and I had all Ready Gone Out With My other band “The Hunns” for 8 Weeks and Then Took off To Europe With Them and I Have A Bombs Euro Comming up after This here Tour Finishes Out in the States Then I Have A Skateboard Thing in FLA for “Beer City” before Going To Australia to Tour the whole Coast from Brisbane(Top) To Melbourne(Bottom) Blah blah Blah man ! I Did Payback 11 years of back Child Support and the same with back taxes !
The Country Ain’t never been the Same Since Either ! More and More All Age venue’s Closeing Doors Due To Insane Local laws in Most cases ,if anyone under age is caught doing anything ? The Owner Can Lose His ? Whatever He Hasn’t Lossed yet due to all the ever Changeing Laws ? It’s very hard To keep up !

Anyhow, I Rushed the Boarder full blast useing The Cars As Cones and Zooming All Across The Front of The Boarder Booth’s and About 3 meters back ,I Choose My Booth and as I Zero’d in on The No Car Situation on that booth in Particular and Gassed it Full bore and Looking down at my feet only as I Flew by The Gaurd Tower, I Now Look up and Zero in on the “DUTY FREE” Store About 3 Blocks up All Gravel streets and thats Cool Cuz I Got My Semi-Long board with Big soft Wheels So I,m Not Feeling even The Deepest “POTHOLES” as I Knew Boarder Patrol was for sure on my ASS ?! I Just wanted to make it to the Duty free To be Able To Say I Made it that Far was gonna be rad enough ! BY The Time I Slid up To The Curb at The Front door of The Duty free ?

I FINALLY TURNED AROUND COMPLETLY OUT OF BREATH,I also wanted to see How far Back …or Close they were?!? NOBODY WAS THERE MAN ! NOT A SOUL – NOBODY WAS CHASING ME ! It Blew My Mind ! I Called Kerry ( My Guitar Player and he said Wade Had his tourist suit on(Complete with camera around the neck)and Was being Detained(Me and Him had a 20 dollar bet I Allready won or will win in NYC) Wade has A Bunch of felonies from his Past And he Ain’t Gonna Get in ! Kerry said Union 13 is getting Searched hard but They Swallowed all Their Illegal Crap… Like ..Weed ! THEIR VAN IS TOTAL CHEECH AND CHONG TO THE BONE and They Got The Dogs on them.The Other(Epitaph) band With us is “The Deviants” Totally Cool Kids and We Ended up having Charlie from That band learn The First Half of Our Set,Then we Had “Rudy” From Union 13 play The Second half of Our set and We Pulled it off and by The time we landed in new york.

We All Hated wade because he was all rested and been eating good and of course hanging out with his Girl for the Last 2 Weeks While we Played in Every Forrest and backwoods canada had To offer along with bears and all Kinds of Wild Animal sasquatch kinda Reptilian- Bat- Tigger- Manarey – MOOSE EATERS ! hah ! No But I Did Skate The Most kick ass Full Pipe This day also ! Complete with Cranking Tunes and A Bunch of Locals That Totally shredded the Place Big time ! SO SMOOTH AND BRAND NEW AT THAT TIME !!!!! SUMMER THERE = WINTER HERE AND “HEY”! We Love Australia & Need to get back There Soon !
